our Story

It all started with a swipe. "Swipe right to match with other singles in your area" -BLK.

Quin had just moved to Charleston and was looking to meet new people. Kyra was looking to get out of the house and socialize. Somehow the algorithm decided to show them each other and they both swiped right.

After a few conversations they exchanged numbers and decided to go out on a date. They talked and laughed over brunch at Big Bad Breakfast and the rest is history.

Book Your Stay

Our wedding will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2027 and we invite you to celebrate with us in paradise. Please kindly RSVP by August 1, 2026 so we can plan accordingly!

We have chosen to stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres for our wedding. Our travel agent, Andrea, is excited to help secure your reservation. Please click the “Book Your Stay” button below to reserve your room and pay in full by June 11, 2027.

Guests are kindly asked to book their own flights (the earlier, the better!). The best airport to fly into is Cancun International Airport (CUN). Barefoot Bridal will reach out 60 days prior to your travel date to coordinate airport transfers.

Thank you for joining us! Please enjoy the resort and grab yourself a bite to eat. We will have rehearsal and dinner for the wedding party and immediate family after which meet us at Draft Sports Bar (family friendly until 10:30pm) for a welcome drink.

WEDDING DAY! Our wedding ceremony will start at 3pm at the Sky Gazebo followed by cocktail hour and reception at the adjacent sky venues.

Saturday

For anyone who isn’t ready to leave paradise just yet we will be enjoying the beach meeting up near the Tiki bar midday.

We are so thankful to everyone who is willing to come celebrate our union. Feel free to make this a vacation for you and yours however only the invited adults in the party will be able to attend the wedding and reception. There are numerous activities at the resort that the rest of your party and children can partake in during the time of the wedding and reception.

Adults-Only

The dress code for our wedding is Semi-Formal. For the ladies, think summer dresses or skirts. For the gents, a light suit or dress shirt with trousers is ideal.

Things to Note

Inform them of your trip in advance and ask about international plans to avoid unexpected roaming charges and ensure your phone will work abroad.

Call your cell company

Check your passport expiration date, take a photo of it and download the travel documents you will receive to your phone to access even without cell service or WiFi.

Prepare digital back-ups

Tipping is customary, and having cash on hand is convenient for tipping hotel staff, tour guides, airport transfer drivers, and restaurant servers.

Store your passport, electronics, prescription medications, cash, and any other valuables securely inside your in-room safe during your stay.

Drink plenty of bottled water (tap water isn't recommended for drinking). Use a high-SPF sunscreen often, and pack a hat and sunglasses for extra protection.
